Kitu Kidogo Vacation Rental Diani Mombasa comprises of two beautiful cottages set in a serene coastal forest only 120 meters from the beach with private access. Firimbi is a two bedroom cottage which comes with its own outside entertainment and barbeque area.

Both rooms have A/C. Sahani which is the one bedroom cottage is positioned to maximize the sea breeze and comes with an overhead and stand up fan.

The cottages are built out of sandstone, coral and wood representing the various textures of East Africa.

The interiors evoke memories of the Old Africa which was influenced by the spice trade route.

This look was achieved by sourcing furniture and furnishings from the Swahili coast, Rajhastan and South Africa.

Both cottages come with fully equipped kitchens to cook scrumptious coastal cuisine.

We can also throw in a chef who can do all your grocery shopping in addition to cooking delicious meals so you can indulge in better things like long beach walks, swimming in the warm Indian ocean or simply lazing in our outside spaces.

The cottages are located in close proximity to fresh vegetable and fruit stands (all organic), shopping centres and restaurants.

It is on the same plot as the famous Forty Thieves beach bar and Ali Barbour's Cave Restaurant! There is an eighteen hole golf course only a five minute drive away. We can organise day excursions, diving and boat trips for you!

The correspondence with the owner was great! I had lots of questions and she answered all of them.

We booked ourselves into the two bedroom cottage which was perfect for us as we were four in total.

The cottage was beautiful and exactly looked like the pictures.

Edith showed us how to get to the beach and also suggested meals for my little ones. The beds were extremely comfortable. Bathroom, kitchen and the outside area was absolutely lovely.

The surroundings were really tranquil and there were quite a lot of animals in the bush.

In the mornings the sun is (small deer) would be grazing on the lawn which was a real treat while we drank our coffee.

The minute you enter the property you are in a different world. I would have liked wi - fi internet but the internet cafe at Forty Thieves beach bar was only a minute away.

You can always buy a modem stick and some scratch cards if you would prefer having net at the cottage.
