Kilimanjaro Lamu

We were the only guests at Kilimanjaro Lamu during our visit so we had the entire place to ourselves. We were able to get massages and henna in the rooftop lounge area while chilling with a book, ocean breezes and great views of the water.

Breakfasts were served at a relaxed pace and featured fresh fruit, tea, an omelete & toast.

My friends most enjoyed being able to sleep in the bed on the rooftop under a mosquito net where they could enjoy the night time ocean breeze.

My favorite was its location right in the middle of Lamu's Old Town district.

It wasn't uncommon to squeeze past 5 donkeys carrying loads of sand through the narrow alleyways on our way to & from the B&B.
