A small authentic and locally owned hotel, Kahama Hotel is genuine Kenyan hospitality at its finest. Set within lush tropical gardens, around a large swimming pool, the property oozes tranquillity and relaxation. Accommodation is surprising good value and of high standard.There are 32 large, fully air conditioned, newly renovated and tastefully decorated rooms that are equipped with en-suite tiled shower/bath, telephones, mosquito netting, satellite television and a choice of kingsize or twin beds.

Ive stayed in this hotel NUMEROUS times and I never tire! The biggest strength is consistency in staff.

Emmanuel & Habiba (kindest & most considerate, lovely Faith, fashionable coiffed NAOMI who greeted me with the biggest smile ever (to my delight), Kubo at Pitcher & Butch, Robert at the restaurant, the wonderful, wonderful welcoming Morans.

Its home away from home with the best rooms around REALLY! If they had a beach it would be paradise.

But.....I LOVE swimming in the quiet pool at midnight. You have your bar and you have your quiet rooms, clean, trendy (yet uniquely African roomes) Kudos to my beloved Jennifer and her style.

I still say it you should go into interior design..... Listen up: anybody who hasnt been there is missing a gem! They LISTEN to complaints/compliments and your luggage is SAFE. Never once have I been filled with trepidation.

Its hard to leave really because they do not want to let you go! How many times have I been granted an EXTREMELY LATE check out because my flight is late or Im just TOO TIRED or SICK?

The last time I was there I fell ill but had no fear because I know they would have looked after me.

Its ME they are interested in and remember ALWAYS. These are the little things that make the world go round. I don’t have to ask.....they know... Whether its business or pleasure Kahama is tops.
