Jannat House

I would highly recommend this marvelous Jannat House in Lamu town to anyone especially families.

The staff was friendly and always willing to help with any advice or directions.

Johnny and Elizabeth are the perfect hosts and went out of their way to assist us with every detail; they made us feel like family which was the experienced we yearned for coming from Nairobi.

The room rates we were given were by far the best deal we got over the festive season and were not disappointed in anyway .

The hotel location was also perfect; not too far for little ones to walk.

The renovation works to this old Swahili house were obviously carried out with great detailing to incorporate breezy and private rooftop verandas, large comfortable dining areas with much needed cross ventilation, authentic decor and soft furnishings and a nucleus bar/ pool area.

The bedrooms were always sparkling clean and decorated in the East African coastal style and further perfectly sized with wooden shutters to keep the rooms cool in harmony with the traditional Lamu style and design.

As a family we have decided that this will be our destination again this festive season without a doubt and are looking forward to our return. Keep up the good work.

An excellent choice of hotel when staying in Lamu Town.
