Imani Beach Villa Hotel in Zanzibar

Four of us spent 13 nights at the Imani Beach Villa in Zanzibar.

Having chose to holiday in Zanzibar we then picked the Imani based largely on what the majority had written about the Lodge.

We weren’t disappointed in any way whatsoever.

The rooms are large with beds equally large and the girls Mosa and Mariam keep them both spotless.

And when you arrive, wow! spotless bed linen with fresh flowers spread across the bed.

The Hadji one and Hadji two share the responsibility of supplying you at any time with drinks and food, and they are both delightful.

Other Restaurants and Quick Food Outlets

Babou who acts as tour the tour guide for the various excursions that the Lodge runs is extremely knowledgeable and very lively.

His brother Hussain is one of the cooks and he is hilarious. Nasoor the driver is always available enjoys practicing his English and gave us an insight into the recent history of the island.

Tito the Manager was also most friendly and helpful. In fact everyone you meet on the island are so friendly.

Congratulations to Simon for running such a delightful place. If you want to get away from the normal hotel where you could be anywhere this is the place for you.
