Ibis Hotel in Nanyuki Kenya is not a luxury hotel, but somewhat "authentic” and pretty good African hotel.

It's located in town center, and has a restaurant and at bar – I didn’t find the food any good, but the Tuskers in the bar felt great.

I stayed at the hotel before and after my Mt Kenya trip, at the first visit was the toilet seat missing, something that the reception didn’t care to fix.

You have to buy Wifi access at the internet café next door of the hotel.

Everything was more than we expected .The rooms are quiet and clean and food was excellent.

We highly recommend them for accommodation as well as Mount Kenya and safari arrangements.
Ibis hotel has been recommended in various travel guide books.
