Hotel Melinde

Hotel Melinde in Malindi Town Kenya is a hotel with a private beach front that provided a wonderful three day budget holiday for my wife and me. The Arab style buildings and interiors are great and the lounge is quite spacious and provided a great relaxing ambiance.

The food is not that great though so maybe one should just stick to the bed and breakfast arrangement.

I have stayed at hotel Melinde for the second time this year. The reason I came back was the beautiful hotel, really nice rooms, and good swimming pool and let’s not forget the friendly staff and the very friendly owner.

She has made our stay wonderful, very helpful. The restaurant upstairs is also a place not to miss. What a great food, we did not even look further for another restaurant and ate there every evening during our stay.

The prices of the rooms are cheap, they are very good value.
