Nairobi Hotel Embassy

I stayed one night at Hotel Embassy in Nairobi City Kenya en route to Masai Mara. Just what I wanted, somewhere to bunk down.

The room was nice and neat and quite.

The bed and pillow was just right.

The staff and management were absolutely terrific and solved the problem I had with the pick up service to Wilson airport.

I would definitely stay again.

The Hotel Embassy was a nice hotel in the heart of Nairobi. Nairobi itself is not terribly safe, however we had no issues at all at the hotel.

Definitely recommend it to any budget travelers. there is hot water, toilet seats (a luxury it would seem compared to certain other budget hotels in Africa) and the rooms are clean, though a little aged.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the restaurant cooks some delicious East Indian-Kenyan dishes, and you are in the heart of downtown so close to all amenities.

No real safety deposit box, which is disappointing, but you can leave valuables with the manager to pickup at certain times.
