Kigali Good News Guest House

You are Here: › Good News Guest House

The Good News Guest House is set in gardens in a private and peaceful location overlooking Kigali. The view is stunning .Speaking of food, the selection of dishes is very good, and the portion sizes generous.

Harriet the cook is very amenable, and if you ask her for a specific dish then she will oblige.

All of the staff is polite, considerate, welcoming and helpful.

The owner, Ben, is fantastic - he does so much for the community and always goes the extra mile to be helpful.

The rooms themselves are spacious, the beds are comfortable (and have mosquito nets), there is ample storage space, and the bathrooms are clean with very good pressure hot water showers.

There are places to sit and relax at the front and rear of the property, and a little corner space inside ideal for quiet time.

This has been the perfect place to start my Rwandan adventure, and it comes highly recommended!

The Good News host Ben was very personable and obliging - as a bonus he spoke good English and was an interesting person to talk to.

The rooms were new, clean and well appointed with everything you could expect in this price range. Breakfast (included) was excellent with fresh fruits and pancakes.

Good location for a business trip (close to airport and government sector).

A little far from town for some tourists but the quality and price make it worth the extra 10 minutes in a taxi.

Great to know that part proceeds go to an excellent cause (the charity had a meeting whilst we were staying there, and the good work was clear to see).
