Fish Eagle Inn

Fish Eagle Inn is a lovely campsite situated under the acacias with plenty of shade.

This happened to be a last minute trip to Naivasha.

Situated about 40 minutes from Nairobi, this lodge in Naivasha is a holiday spot worth paying a visit even for a night.

We had a rough idea of where we wanted to stay. First stop was the Crayfish, ideal for camping but the rooms are a no no.

We decided to drive just a mile further to the Fish Eagle Inn and they didn't disappoint.

Everything was they had was a nice surprise. We were 2 couples, and our interest was the cottages.

They offered us executive rooms for the same price as the cottage, but we wanted the cottage experience.

There was enough hot water, and by hot I mean HOT, wi-fi internet was offered for free, something we didn't expect.

The food was great, I'd advise you to try their full breakfast. It was a full British breakfast.

They even had bacon.

The staff was great, Peter at the restaurant deserves kudos.

Really knows how to take care of customers. Swimming pool, gym are free for cottage and suite residents.

Campers have to pay for these services. Word of advice, get mosquito repellant, you'll need it.

The rooms are usually sprayed and nets are provided, but for the usual walk around the Inn, invest in some good repellant. I'd visit this place again in a heart-beat. I do recommend.
