Enashipai Resort & Spa

I badly needed a place not so far from Nairobi for my "Me Time" moment, and Enashipai Resort and Spa in Naivasha did not disappoint.

True to its name, I had good time and left in a state of happiness.

Very clean and spacious rooms, tastefully furnished with a soothing earth colour scheme, and good food (if you don't fancy wide variety).

Staff were relatively courteous, but as a new establishment, there is room to make extreme customer service a differentiator.

For example, I was shown one of the owners of the resort, but , even as I purposely passed near him, he did not offer me a greeting, leave alone a smile! An opportunity squandered! At the high cost, there should be internet in the rooms

The lodge has been designed very well and though its a bit of walking in between facilities to us that was a bonus if only to get some exercise!!

There is no lake view from the main lodge but it’s just a short walk away.

The 5 bedroom cottage we stayed in was beautifully appointed though the lounge is a bit dark.

The bedrooms and bathroom were amongst the best in Kenya and most of all we enjoyed the variety of food the most......despite some of our group being vegetarians.

All the staff made a special effort and we will definitely be going there again for a break. The spa is not yet open but am sure it will be worth it when it does. Drinks price average for this kind of lodge.

The chef made our day he went an extra mile for making for us a variety of vageterian food.Keep it up for the good job
