Kigali Dream Guest House

You are Here: › Dream Guest House

During my recent visit to Kigali to work as a volunteer in Kigali International Peace Marathon 2012 the Dream Guest House Hotel served as a convenient base owing to its proximity to Amohoro Stadium.

The cost is reasonable and the area is well served by public transport and motorcycles popularly known as motto.

The staff were friendly and helpful while the proprietor who has lived in Kenya for many years was very kind.

The location is also good for those who like living within and interacting with the communities

The Dream Inn is well located in the centre of Kigali, with the Nakumatt Centre up the hill and the Nyabugogo taxi park at the bottom.

There are lots of moto-taxis whizzing by if you don't feel like walking.

That does mean that it can be a bit noisy at night.

The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The hot water was hit and miss but the WiFi worked OK.

The rooms are around $40 a night which is pretty good value for Kigali.

It is basic but if you don't need luxury it's good value.

The staff were really friendly and helpful.
