Dar es Salaam Waterfront Sunset Restaurant and Beach Bar

You are Here: › Waterfront Sunset Restaurant and Beach Bar

Dar es Salaam Waterfront Sunset Restaurant and Beach Bar is located at "The Slipway", a popular shopping area in Dar. Mostly a terrace right by the sea and a very pleasant place to sit.

Food is pretty good, with the exception of "Nyama Choma" (grilled meat) which was to tough to eat.

Pizzas are pretty good, as is the fish and seafood.

Service is a bit slow at times and a disaster on Sunday afternoons when the place is packed.

Less the fault of staff, there are not just enough employees to go around when the place is packed.

A bit disturbing was the Owner and Chef; his screaming at the staff could be heard all the way from the kitchen.

Nevertheless, a combination of location and food make it a very nice place to chill out, we ended up going 3-4 times during our stay in Dar.

Brilliant, atmosphere is fantastic, lovely view, food is delicious and plenty. Sunsets are always lovely to watch from here..
