Kigoma Coast View Hotel

Stayed at the Coast View Hotel Kigoma for a few days while in Kigoma on business and really liked the place. The rooms are basic but clean and are a pretty good value (Tsh30,000) compared to some of the more expensive hotel options in town.

The staff was friendly and helpful. A basic breakfast was included with the room and there is a small bar serving up drinks.

The hotel has a nice location above town and has a great view of Lake Tanganyika.

Other Hotels and Lodges 

It is a great place to drink a cold beer and watch the sun set at the end of the day.

The only downside is that it is a bit of a steep walk to/from the town centre but taxis are cheap if you don't feel like a hike.

Also, there was usually no electricity during the day at the hotel, or in most of the town for that matter, this is TZ after all.

Usually comes on at night though. Overall, this a nice little place and a good choice for all visitors to Kigoma. I will stay here again.
