Clove Hotel Zanzibar

We stayed at Clove Hotel Zanzibar for 2 nights in January. The booking was very easy and quick.

Our room was quite small and towards the back of the hotel.

Still, it had everything we needed, and had some really nice decorative touches.

On the whole, it was good value for money.

The roof terrace is a dream, with excellent views of the town, and a help yourself bar, which is a brilliant touch.

The location of the hotel is excellent, and while no cars can drive up to the hotel, Stone Town is small enough that you can find your way around easily enough.

What makes the hotel is the staff.

All very helpful and friendly, and they can't do enough for you. We had one of the staff purchase ferry tickets for us, which was a great help.

The owner also gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations.

Overall a great choice of hotel in Stone Town. We'd definitely stay there again.
