Boutique Hotel Matlai Zanzibar

You are Here: › Boutique Hotel Matlai

I am an expat in Dar and frequently travel to Zanzibar to relax over the weekend.

Boutique Hotel Matlai is by far the nicest hotel i have experienced on the archipelago on an untouched wonder of a beach at Pingwe.

The management and staff are first class, with supreme food and service. The rooms are absolutely stunning.

Floating around in the pool, which extends from the house interior all the way out to the beach, with a cocktail in hand is a perfect way to spend an idyllic few days to unwind.

You can pass hours watching the the ocean, swim in the pool and enjoy great food prepared by a great cook. The team at Matlai creates a perfect atmosphere to enjoy the stay.

There are some impressive snorkeling spots close by with sea stars in all colours of the rainbow, Jozani forest with the famous red colobus monkeys is close by and invites for a day trip. As well Stone Town and the spice tours are only 1 hour away.

Anybody looking for a piece of paradise to relax without any bad surprises after booking is perfectly right here. Fully recommendable!
