Bamburi Beach Resort in Mombasa Coast Kenya

You are Here: › Bamburi Beach Resort

The set up of Bamburi Beach Resort is great if you want a cheaper option to Mombasa without having to stay in a backpacker type set up. The cottages are great, the room are simple but clean and quite spacious and if you travelling with a group its so much fun as you can book the entire cottage rather than rooms.

It has a self catering system too with an outdoor kitchen, beautiful dining table and outdoor lounge area. I didn’t use the kitchen but our neighbours did and we ended up getting along with them which is always a bonus.

The pool area is a bit of a waste of time as its tiny but then you're right on the beach so who needs it! The bar is also great, not bad with the pricing and the food they offer is great!!

Its vegetarian only but it doesn’t matter because if you feel like meat you can just go next door! the decor is brilliant, I absolutely loved it, its got a very African theme with beautiful carvings everywhere. The bed in the room was made in large old wooden frames. If you like a natural environment then this does it.

I would recommend this place for people who just want to have a fun beach holiday without the extravagant spending with a group of friends, just yourself, or as a couple.
