Babylon Lodge Accommodation in Kilimanjaro

My stay at the Babylon Lodge I Kilimanjaro Tanzania was pleasant, as were the room and the general environment.

What raises the standards of this company is its customer service, which was genuine and always helpful, from helping us choose the appropriate route on Kilimanjaro, to the porters and guides, choosing a driver, shopping for snacks before the hike, communicating with the airport to stay informed about our lost luggage, etc.

There was never a moment in which we felt stressed (even when we should have been) because we could depend on the staff at Babylon and Bobby, the manager, in particular. 

I would recommend the Babylon Lodge to anyone who wishes to climb kilimanjaro or attend any other expeditions as I am sure you will be taken care of and develop positive memories along the way. 

Other Hotels and Lodges 

It must be noted, that this lodge is great for its class, so don't expect much more than you pay for. The rooms are simple but clean, and the food was also appetizing.

With its current management I'm quite certain of its success in the future

It would have been nice to spend more time at the lodge and in Marangu, but our schedule was tight; however, our short stay was very pleasant neverthless. Staff were helpful and food was good. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable.

So overall a great experience; I would certainly recommend Babylon Lodge to anybody wishing to climb Kili (or just explore Moshi/Arusha).

Bobby is a really friendly, helpful guy and his leadership will no doubt lead Babylon Lodge to a very bright future.
