Aquiline Hotel in Arusha

Aquiline hotel in Arusha Tanzania is a bar and restaurant with balcony which serves good food at reasonable prices. There is also an upscale nightclub in the building.

The hotel mainly serves an upper, middle class African clientele.

Location

It is located across from the regional and long distance bus stations, pretty much in the heart of Arusha close to the central market.

As most tourists do not stay in this part of town, you will not be accosted by touts, as happens in Arusha center.

The big downside of this hotel is the noise from the nightclub. On Wednesdays and the weekends, the music plays until early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper, it might be a problem, even with earplugs.

The hotel is modern, as described on the website, and very good value. There is internet available in the rooms if you bring your own computer.

They will supply the cable if required, though a technician has to initialize the connection (no charge). It was great to get back to the internet after safari.

Staff was friendly.
