As we enter the gates of Ameg Lodge Kilimanjaro Ltd Tanzania, I felt relaxed with the open space, palm trees and welcoming smiles.

The service from all the staff (reception & restaurant) and the management was second to none.

They were friendly and extremely helpful – especially in getting my bag (with all my trekking gear!) back when the airline lost it.

The restaurant was nicely decorated and the food was tasty too. Rooms were comfortable and spacious - nice four-post bed with lots of pillows, so we got a good night sleep before our climb.

Ameg also organised our Kilimanjaro trek. The guides and porters were FANTASTIC really looked after us the whole way.

Don’t think I would have made it to the top if it wasn’t for their encouragement and patience!

We came back to Ameg lodge after our climb. Nice plan to chill out, which is exactly what we needed.

You would really have to go out your way to find something to criticise about Ameg Lodge!!

The food, service and accommodation are all excellent. This, coupled with friendly staff, and you've got yourself a brilliant place to relax and enjoy your holiday (or in my case have a good night's rest before a trek up the mountain)

They have thought of everything in terms of comfort -spacious rooms, a comfortable bed, crisp white linen, fluffy pillows, beautiful decor..... just about everything.

The staff were absolutely superb. All of them were delightful and very helpful.

The dining area and bar are cozy and welcoming, and again I should mention the amazing decor. Food was brilliant.

Ameg Lodge were brilliant in organising everything that was required for my trek up mount kilimanjaro. The guides and porters were brilliant. They made the 6 day trek easier with their friendly and patient demeanour.

Superb; highly recommended. I would most definitely go back. Hats off to the staff and management for working hard to make it a fantastic trip
