Amaan Beach Bungalows and Hotel in Zanzibar

Like many things in Tanzania, the beauty comes to you once you immerse yourself into it Amaan Beach Bungalows.

On the outside, it may not be the nicest looking but the value is there - especially if you get the deluxe ocean view room.

At high tide, the water is directly beneath you (request this on your bookings), I was tempted many times to dive in the morning or at night into the crystal blue/green water. 

I can't say enough good things about Nungwi, if you're looking to escape and don't need to be appeased by TV or shiny material entertainment - you will enjoy Amaan Bungalows.

If you're the type of person to get infuriated over a hole in the mosquito net, Tanzania might not be the place for you.

If you're the type of person to see a hole in the mosquito net and patch it with tape and be on your way - you will love it here.

I see some people did not have A/C - my room did so I was pretty lucky. You shouldn't be staying in resorts for very long anyways - go explore, check out a booze cruise, mingle with the locals and who knows where you'll end up but I can promise you the experience will be more than worth your payment.
