Safina Hotel and Apartments Dar es Salaam

You are Here: › Safina Hotel and Apartments

Safina Hotel and Apartments hotel Dar es Salaam has a surprisingly high standard compared to other 'unknown' hotels in Dar that are not affiliated to an international network. Rooms are spotless and most have great bathrooms

The level of services has been maintained including transport logistics to and from the Hotel.

The location is excellent for working class and people requiring leisure (quite environment).

It is close to the biggest shopping mall in Tanzania (Mlimani City) and expressway to the airport.

Tour to Bagamoyo and Mikumi National Parks can be packaged. The environment is clean, quite, comfortable and extremely good

Other Best Hotels and Lodges in this Area

Friendly Gecko Guesthouse | Mikadi Beach Lodge | The Lighthouse Beach Resort | Mwanzo Park Lodges | Kipepeo Beach Village | The Akana Lodge | The Green Hill Holiday | Kipepeo Beach Camp | Abla Hotel Apartments | TEC Kurasini Training & Conference Centre | YMCA Dar es Salaam |

However you need to know this:

1. You need to negotiate the rates. The rack rates are much too high given the hotel's location and the fact that the central facilities are very limited (no swimming pool etc.)

2. This is not the type of hotel that has a nice restaurant or bar with outside area. Unfortunately there is also no nice place nearby. So you will spend significant money on taxis in the evening (which need to be pre-arranged as there are none parked outside).

3. The location is quite far from the city cente - a taxi will cost at least TZS 10,000. In the mornings and afternoons the transport times can be substantial (up to 1 hr.).
