Rangers Restaurant Nairobi

I hadn't visited the Rangers Restaurant Nairobi in a while but I was impressed by the improvement in service.

Our waiter (Stan) was efficient, very articulate and friendly.

He knew his menu well and we were not disappointed by his suggestions.

The food was excellent. Down side ---- change! We were kept for well over half an hour as the cashier did not have change!!!

The last time the credit card machine was not working.

The Management needs to keep up and pick up on the loose ends!!!!

This restaurant is an excellent moderately priced choice in a wonderful African lodge setting just inside the entrance to Nairobi National Park.

Nice range of prices. We love this place. 4-5 Maasai greeters on weekends.. Safari style restaurant with a wide variety of foods that can be served. Went there with a group of 7 and we had an excellent time.

They took care of us and the 'nyama choma mix' platters that we had were very good with a wide selection of meats... everything is well priced - drinks too.

In addition, you can go for the safari walk and have sundowner cocktails (by prior arrangement) and in the cold months of July they have a large fireplace that warms up the place...

They also have verandah sitting with views of a watering hole, so if you're lucky you can spot different animals coming for a drink as you while your evening/night away..
