Hotel des Mille Collines Kigali

Hotel Des Mille Collines in Kigali Rwanda is an incredibly beautiful hotel property, particularly the outdoor seating area around the bar and pool.

It offers an incredible view of the city.

It's also a great place to be at the end of the day when they fire up the BBQ.They have, without a doubt, the best fish brochettes I've ever had.

Nicely seasoned and marinated before being put over the hot coals, it's perhaps the best fish I've ever eaten!

I travel to Rwanda often and decided to save a few dollars and stay at Mille Colline as opposed to Hotel Serena . . . and I am actually in the middle of my stay now!

Other Hotels and Lodges 

I have been pleasantly surprised at the rooms, the cleanliness, and the over room accommodations.

Limited television selection but that isn't surprising in Rwanda and I'm not in the room that much; however, CNN or such would be a nice option in the morning for us American travelers.

The breakfast buffet is great - although some ceiling fans in the Panoramic Restaurant would help move some air as I found myself sweating while eating breakfast.

I would say if you want to good standard fairly sterile business hotel to stay in then this is for you - but it is definietly not a must see
