Zuane restaurant Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

You are Here: › Zuane restaurant.

Every trip I do to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania must include an evening meal at Zuane restaurant. While the the pizza selection is extensive what is more important is the fact that the pizza itself is excellent.

If you like thin base pizza the way the Italian's like it then I think Zuane comes very close to delivering on this expectation.

No matter the day of the week, there is always a good crowd of people there - that speaks volumes.

In true Italian/African style, dont be in a rush once you have ordered - relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Good for little kids as well with a little play area on the lawn, which can be used no problem at night.

Definitely worth it.I was really impressed with the service and the food here.

The restaurant is pretty with the option of eating inside or out on the verranda or in the garden.

There was a really nice atmosphere with a mix of locals, tourists and ex-pats.

We had a meat and cheese platter and some breads to start which were of high quality and we each had a pizza for our main.

They were huge so you could probably share, but with so many toppings to choose from it is hard to decide! We have decided we'll make another visit to try the pasta dishes soon.
