What a terrific experience. Sure it's pricey by Kenyan standards but WOW! Words can't do it justice. Just go and experience Tamarand Dhow Restaurant mombasa for yourself.

We had the best time and a 4 course meal with drinks for just under 5000 ksh per head.

So romantic, so much fun. Just do it!

“very relaxing and entertaining”Nice experience on an old dhow that cruises on the Mombasa creek at sundown for a good gastronomic experience.

Food cooked on the main desk on the charcoal grill leaves a fantastic smell in the air, while you're eating you are at candlelight the great grilled lobsters as well as other seafood.

Not really recommended for family with small children, but delightful for a couple or a group of friends.

Excellent live music on board, with a good musical choice.relaxing boat ride with traditional music being played on a banjo, snacks provided while they explain all the history to be had around you, then a small tour and lunch at the best seafood resteraunt i have ever been to.

Warning don't eat too many snacks as the meals are huge the seafood platter i had was out of this world.
