Sunshine Hotel Zanzibar

You are Here: › Sunshine Hotel Zanzibar

On the east coast in the north, Sunshine Hotel Zanzibar is the best design hotel in Zanzibar.

Its rooms all have ocean views with great ocean breezes and built 12 years ago by two very clever guys, the rooms are brilliant.

I stay at 5 star hotels around the world but in Tanzania this hotel for me as a business guy is brilliant it has wifi right on this most amazing beach so you can jog or walk for miles and take a boat to the sand island to do snorkeling to brilliant.

The management are 2 very charming young Austrians who are very kind and extremely efficient.

i am shooting myself in the foot by giving such a great review because if people found out what gem this place is i never get a room.

Value for money is the best I have seen ever.

it has plunge and main pool right on the beach.

The place is spotless and very clean.

you love the place and recommend it to you friends when you see what i am saying is right to support this type of top standard hotels that are really needed in zanzibar.

We headed to Sunshine Hotel with a short amount of time to visit and with lots of demands - even though it was low season the Sunshine Hotel welcomed us with open arms.

Arriving late in the day their smiling chef opened the kitchen for us to ensure we had eaten after a day of travel and then they proceeded to make us feel more than at home with face to face welcomes and chats with their local staff.

The hotel is impeccably presented - simple and refined and lending itself to casting off your shoes, and going for long walks up the white powder sand beach or reef walking out past the seaweed farms to see the breakwater.

The world needs more beautiful and well run independent hotels such as this. I'll be back for sure. We can only hope that the lovely Simba is back and bounding along the sand in no time.
