Roika Tarangire Tented Lodge

Roika Tarangire Tented Lodge was our first lodge on our 6 day safari of the Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National Park. It was the best place we stayed in by far. The “tent” we stayed in was very comfortable, the grounds were lovely.

There was a small pool which looked nice although we didn’t have time to use it. The food was tasty. We could see wildlife such as zebras outside and in the distance we could see lots of flamingoes by the lakeside of Manyara.

Wow! Where to begin? The accommodations and staff at Roika Tarangire Tented Lodge are absolutely the best!

From the friendly greeting every morning at breakfast, to the meals and daily lunch boxes, to the final escort by Masai guides to our tents every evening...

Roika is a wonderful experience. We awakened to birds singing every morning and watched dik diks and warthogs wander by our tent as we watched from the porch.

The tents are deluxe and immaculately clean. I can't imagine finer accommodations being available. Thanks Roika Tented Lodge for a truly magical stay.

Roika Tented Camp is a really nice and comfortable place to stay after a long day of Safari! The bedroom and bathroom are really spacious and very comfortable!

You really feel that you are in the nature. Elephants are never far away, which is the reason why Masai walk you to the dining area.
The staff is really helpful and caring.

I can mostly recommend the morning walk with some Masai staff through the nearby Masai area. They really explained a lot of the culture and the traditions of the Masai people!

Roika Tarangire lodge is one of the few lodges that cater not only for the holiday maker but the business traveler as well.

The Lodge has a lovely business centre that offers top class conference facilities, email facilities and secretarial services.

All in all we can highly recommend the tented camp! We had an awesome stay there!
