Q-bar and restaurant Dar es Salaam

As a "regular" since more than 7 years I like to comment especially on some negative remarks. First q-bar and restaurant is well located, in an up-class residential area.

The "Happy Hour" (Mo-Fr) is just the right thing after a hard day's work. Beer is always cold and fresh. Service is mostly friendly and fast. sometimes they "forget" to return the change.

Food portions are usually very generous, rather for loggers n miners than for clerks n secretaries. food is mostly freshly prepared.

At night illumination is not so good for dining. The "malayas" usually do not harm anybody. If they'd try then they'd be taken out immediately by one of the "bouncers".

The patrons are quite mixed, from all parts of the world, young n old, F n M, families n singles, regulars and by-passers etc.

The only negative point in my opinion is that entrance is charged for any little event. for live music OK but not for sport on TV or "disco music"!
