Arusha Planet Lodge

Planet Lodge met all our needs for the start of our Tanzania Safari. The night we arrived, after a long flight, Lodge Manager welcomed us in such a wonderful manner. Our room was lovely and the bed so comfortable.

Planet Lodge is located in Arusha, the tourist capital of Tanzania. Located in East Africa, Tanzania is one of the world's greatest safari destinations.

Physical address: Plot 2271, Moshono Village Arusha, Tanzania (its at junction of Nelson Mandela Road and Lokii Road which is a road that would take you to small town of Kiserian).

The rooms are really nicely decorated and the balconies are very nice. The pool area was not 100% finished when we were there but you could still use the nice pool to cool off.

The food was really excellent, and the service outstanding. The ladies on reception and the bar staff are so friendly, we ended up chatting to them a lot.

On arrival we were greeted with a face towel and a drink, which was the perfect refreshment after a long journey. Storing unnecessary luggage for days at a time was no hassle.

Free wifi, operative in the main building, worked most of the time, and if not, there are computers which can be used by guests at any time.

On the whole, we loved our stay at Planet Lodge, and would highly recommend it as a base for Kilimanjaro climbs / safaris.
