I like the New Palm Tree Hotel in Mombasa Kenya. I've stayed here a few times. The rooms are fine.

You get air con, a fan, a tv, a fridge and a clean room. At 3,500KSh you can't really ask for more.

The room isn't the reason I stay at New Palm.

I stay here because there is free wifi and a lovely big terrace upstairs that I use as my office away from home.

Location wise it is pretty useful too - in the financial district so very safe during the day time and close to Moi Avenue, the ferry and Fort Jesus.
