Wednesday evening is the only time Nairobi Le Rustique restaurant opens at night and with fairy lights and fires lighting,

it's a beautiful setting. Otherwise it's great for a late Sunday lunch.

Just 500 shilliings for corkage from the wine shop next door, with an excellent selection of a variety of wine.

Worth the trip. My freinf and I went several times to the Le Rustique for early Friday dinners.

It is a lovely, friendly place very close to the Westgate Shopping Center.

The restaurant is primarily open for lunches and on most nights they close at 7p.m. However, on Wednesday night the place becomes a romantic diner with candlelights.

We have not yet had a chance to visit on Wednesday night, but hopefully we shall go one time.

However, for a quick, tasty dinner Friday nights are also good.We like to sit on the outdoor terrace. Every day the menu changes so the main food is different daily. However, their wonderful crepes remain the same and we have not yet gotten tired of them.

Usually we order a main meal which may be fish or chicken. The servings have always been tastily prepared and for us just the right portion.

Then we complete the meal with a desert crepe which may be hot raspberry crepe with ice or whipped cream, followed by excellent coffee or tea.

The service is very friendly and we are always warmly welcomed into the restaurant.
