Mount Meru Hotel

If you are coming to Mount Meru Hotel for a business trip, they will have everything you need so you can pack very light. If you are staying here before or after climbing Kili you will feel welcomed and very well taken care of.

Honestly was not expecting something like this on arrival but it was a nice way to decompress from the very long flights and make ready for our Tanzania safari/adventure. Spotless, modern, welcoming staff and every amenity I could think of (and was not expecting and did not "need"!)

Our only checked bag (with the toiletries, antibacterial hand wipes and gel, insect repellant) didn't arrive until 7 days into our adventure but this and every lodge/accommodation we stayed at provided shampoo and soap/bath gel) so we were never without!

Thankfully we never encountered any mossies so did not need the repellant any way.

Very much like any nicer hotel you will find in any major city anywhere in the world.

Bedding was fresh, soft and was SO comfortable. We only had time for breakfast the next morning but it was very good and plentiful. Could not have asked for more.

Do not worry about the food at this hotel. It is just fine so eat and enjoy your short time
