Have you ever visited Mdonyo Old River Camp in Ruaha national park Tanzania? This page is your answer if you are looking for information about this camp in Tanzania.

In Ruaha National Park, the second largest in Tanzania and a few kilometres from the Mdonya Falls. A two hour exciting gamedrive from the airstrip, this camp, in its simplicity lets you feel absorbed in forest life.

The tents are located on the banks of Old Mdonya, now a sand river and which wildlife like to use as a corridor in the wilderness. Best way of getting here ? By aircraft from Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar, or by road via Iringa.

Scattered under the shade of large sycamore figs and Acacia Albida, there are only 8 twin bedded tents, each with its own toilette and shower.

The tents are simple but comfortable, furnished with twin beds veiled by mosquito net and with a large verandah where you can relax on a chaise lounge to observe the wildlife around you.
