Mawe Resort Watamu Beaches Malindi Kenya

You are Here: › Mawe Resort

The first impression upon arrival at Mawe Resort in Watamu was excellent and was then largely confirmed during your stay.

The property is located a little apart from the center of Watamu but everything is easily reached by calling a tuc tuc.

The hotel is welcoming and well cared for. Having only 12 rooms you can enjoy in peace the peace of the place.

The rooms are spotless and the food great. As for the service, I would say excellent, the owners are very kind and nice and we were immediately made us feel comfortable.

Upon arriving we were given a phone card with local rechargeable at reception in order to communicate more easily and cheaply.

Thanks also to all the guys who work there, always smiling and kind.

Being on a rock, access to the sea depends on the tide when it is low you can go down and take long walks or stop at the first beach that is, when it is high tide you can relax by the pool or go to some other beach of Watamu.

This feature is useful for the tranquility as you can avoid the siege of the beach boys.

During our trip we turned around and was also very nice to be back in a quiet place to relax without the crowds typical of the larger resorts. If we decide to return to Kenya would choose again Mawe!
