Mara Hippo Lodge is a 4 Star lodge located near the Ololaimatiek gate on the south-side of the Mara Triangle.

It is one of the most beautiful lodges found within and around the world famous Masai Mara Game reserve.

With a casual approach towards offering basic facilities, this lodge matches most well placed lodges within the Masai Mara with its choice of accommodation with suspended cabins.

All the structures are styled after an African Village concept with African ambiance.

Great care has been taken to ensure that from every verandah within the surrounding, one will see nature celebrating its glory with breathtaking landscapes, ranging from the gentle rolling grassland and hills to the dense tropical flora dotted with game as found nowhere else in the world.

Under the canopy of heavy foliage, the lodge is set on a beautiful landscaped garden inside the Mara Game Reserve.

The lodge is medium and therefore carters for a limited number of guests so as to ensure personnel attention to each and every guest.

Location:

Mara Hippo Camp is accessible by light aircraft landing at Keekorok Airstrip, 15kms to the west or via Siana Airstrip 40kms to the north. Alternatively, access by road is 245kms from Nairobi via the main Sekenani Gate of the Masai Mara Game Reserve
