Lou Lou restaurant and lounge:

The food was simply fantastic in the Lou Lou restaurant and lounge: the presentation was nice, the taste excellent and the service very good.

Do not miss a least one dinner there.... Hey, I didn't know there was seating on the roof!

I sat in the ground floor dining room and had a wonderful meal.

The decor is very tasteful and sophisticated but the restaurant does not feel stuffy at all.

There was an interesting music mix playing but it was not loud--I hate blaring music in restaurants.

I was greeted by the very pleasant hostess and seated immediately. My order was taken quickly and a drink brought promptly.

I knew I wanted to save room for the chocolate mousse, so I ordered one of the starters.

It was a meal in itself. If the crab puff pancake is on the menu, order it.

It seemed odd to be eating at a Belgian restaurant in Zanzibar, but their take on local food was really well done. The prices did not seem out of line for a restaurant of this quality--my starter, dessert, and beer came to 22000Tsh.
