Lake Naivasha Sawela Lodge

Lake Naivasha Sawela Lodge is stunningly beautiful in a wonderful and peaceful location on the shore of the lake; though you are not allowed to walk to it by yourself and need a guide provided "free" of charge.

The two-storey cottages are located in a beautiful garden which also has a pool.

Rooms are spacious, well furnished and tastefully decorated.

Service is good and staff friendly though a lot of the time they really overdo it.

The stay was very pleasant especially because the hotel was empty.

The one negative comment I would make is regarding the service which is geared towards groups travelling in organised tours and therefore not very personalised.
