Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp

You are Here: › Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp

Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp is an oasis of Hemingway-style tents shaded by dense forest canopy.

Each luxurious tent has a private deck with sweeping views of the greatest grassland system on earth, the Masai Mara in Kenya.

It lies deep in a monkey-rich forest on the exclusive western side of the Masai Mara on a private concession leased from Maasai which is much less crowded than the eastern part of the Reserve.

It has an excellent year-round concentration of animals and lies directly in the path of Africa’s spectacular Great Migration of hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra.
