The Jacana Safari Lodge is situated on the margin of Maramagambo Forest close to Lake Nyamusingiri and Kyasanduka in Queen Elisabeth National Park in Uganda.

There are 8 luxury log chalets all self-contained built in an African way stretching from the woods up to the great views of Lake Nyamusingiri and the forest.

Eco-Friendly - the lodge is delicately constructed from natural, local materials.

Location - set on the edge of a crater lake in Uganda's Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Activities - nature walks, canoeing, game viewing, sundowner cruises, & chimp viewing.

Set on the edge of a crater lake, Jacana Lodge is a tree house lodge delicately constructed using local rock, gum poles, wood and rope, and decorated with organic furniture and rich textures.

The eco-friendly lodge is situated in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's prime wildlife sanctuary, which is dotted with crystal clear crater lakes and rich in birdlife.

Jacana Lodge's hub is the cosy Virunga Lounge, with large lounging sofas centred around a huge fireplace - a popular venue for late night story-telling.

Outside, there is a swimming pool with a 'swim up' bar, as well as a sauna; perfect for unwinding after a hot and dusty game drive.

Activities at Jacana Lodge include forest/crater and bird watching walks, gondola and lake canoeing, game drives, bat cave visits, sundowner cruises, chimpanzee viewing, fishing and cultural village visits.

The Jacana Lodge is located in Queen Elisabeth National Park in Uganda. The distance to the park is approximately 467kms.
