Hotel Le Printemps Kigali

After failing to reserve the Step Motel in enough time in advance, we ended up at Hotel Le Printemps as it was getting dark and we were getting pretty desperate. After the third or fourth very mediocre hotels we checked out, this was the best at 29,500/room.

They initially wanted to tack on an additional 10,000 for a second person in the room which was ridiculous given other options available nearby.

After a long (20-minute) discussion with the associated child-care centre manager, we were able to waive this fee as the hotel was empty save for one other person and we were a group of four wanting to stay two nights.
