Dongwe Ocean View Hotel in Zanzibar

You are Here: › Dongwe Ocean View

Dongwe Ocean View resort is situated on a beautiful beach and has lovely views of the ocean. Room was spacious , clean and comfortable . Bathrooms are large with walk in showers . Balcony was with a breath-taking view . For the rate they charged this was value for money.

Breakfast was apt and the pool was simple yet inviting . The best part was the lounge area with a swing kind of seat , logs used as a bookshelf and the white furniture - very clean and smart .

The distance from Stone town is about two hours by taxi but then Zanzibar is quite spread out . Recommend this place for a quiet vacation though it is not children - centric.

Dongwe Ocean View is a charming small hotel on the beach with all the facilities, it is not a luxury hotel but very comfortable , big and clean rooms, facing the ocean, big bathrooms with a nice big shower.

Great value for money. We booked in Bed and breakfast but at the end we eat most of our time in the hotel.

The food was very fresh and easy , when we were hungry we just had to say to capo head of the restaurant area and he would organize it for us.

The hotel has a beautiful fresh water pool on the beach so if you prefer the pool you can stay in the pool otherwise you have the ocean right in front of you.

I would recommend Dongwe to anyone that is looking for a nice relaxing and peaceful place.

Hope to come back one day , thank you for making our holiday so great
