Diamond Beach Village

Don’t spend any less than a week in Diamond Beach Village Lamu Kenya - it will cure any signs of stress and high blood pressure, and leave you fit to return to everyday life back home.

Rachel, Helen and the staff were all super! Always a friendly greeting, excellent service & the feeling of living with people who enjoy each others company.

They are up at the crack of dawn tidying, watering plants, cleaning footbaths and always decorating with beautiful flowers.

If you return from the beach carrying treasures in the form of shells don’t be surprised if a friendly person comes out from the kitchen and offers to clean them for you.

The owners are also involved in many community projects and there were two meetings held, one regarding recycling, in the library during our stay.

Makes the place seem like a living part of Manda, rather than a place only for tourists. On the evening of the full moon there also was an excellent concert with both locals and tourists.

We were quite sad to leave and would love to go back - you get to know the people working there and by the end of your stay you feel you're saying goodbye to friends.
