What a place ta Arusha Coffee Lodge? We didn't expect to see a Chrystal chandelier in our room but there it was. Lovely seating area. The room was large, bathroom too. Jacuzzi tub. Very well done. The food was nice....so was everything else.

Arusha Coffee Lodge is located on the western edge of the town of Arusha, 5 minutes from Arusha Airport.

This exclusive, boutique hotel lodge has been designed around the farms’ original plantation homes, radiating the warmth and invitation of the old colonial plantation homes historically distinctive to the coffee plantations.

Luxurious accommodation, fine cuisine, and roaring fires, beckon to the most seasoned traveler.

The Arusha Coffee Lodge is probably the pick of the lodges that surround Arusha.

It can feel a little like it is just a passing through point at times as most faces only remain for a night and are then gone, but staying for a couple of nights can be a very enjoyable experience.

The main benefits for the lodge are that it has a great outside area with tables set out amongst the green grass.

The pool, while not huge, is perfect for the occasional dip and the food is also very good (as is the bar!).

As said before, this is one of our first choices for people looking for a smart and well laid out lodge for either the night or longer.

Arusha Coffee Lodge is a small and well established coffee plantation and lodge set to the west of Arusha, the second largest city in Tanzania.

Generally seen as the basing point for the northern safari itineraries, Arusha is usually only seen as an overnight stop and is often used as such.

It does, however, have quite a lot more to offer and this is especially where a lodge such as the Arusha Coffee Lodge can come into its own.

As the lodge has all of the facilities of a normal safari lodge, it is easy enough to spend a few nights here as part of an itinerary that explores the surrounding areas such as the nearby Arusha National Park or the village project such as Tengeru.

The lodge itself has long prided itself on both its food and the general ambience which is held as being amongst the best in Arusha.

Each of the large and spacious 18 rooms is set amongst the coffee vines and has a private balcony and view.

With ensuite bathrooms and fires in each, the rooms can be either warming in the cooler months or cooler in the heat of the summer

The Coffee Lodge Arusha accommodation consists of 18 plantation houses lavishly furnished, featuring split-level living room area and a private deck patio.

The 18 plantation houses are designed around the original houses, lavishly furnished with a split level, fire place and spacious verandah.

The rooms have a mixture of 10 twin and 8 double beds, with mosquito netting hanging from a spacious wooden frame.

The décor is earth colours which is the concept used in plantation houses, fire place, wooden floors, low lighting, and woven floor rugs.

The bathroom is spacious, with basin, bath tub, shower, hairdryer and bath robe.

The dining room is next to the lounge, It is spacious, airy and glass windows let in a lot of light looking onto the pond and gardens.
