Annex of Abdallah

We stayed here at the Annex of Abdallah one night while in Stone town.

We found it because a guy took us there that we talked to as soon as we got off the ferry.

This place is nothing special, but then again, it is not bad.

We found it to be a great deal at $10/night/person for a triple room including breakfast (which was good; bread, fruit, tea, coffee, butter, jam).

Our room did not have A/C but we didn't expect it to.

It gets hot in Stone town, but there was a powerful ceiling fan in the room that alleviated the heat and made it tolerable to sleep here.

There was not a bathroom in the room but was a short 5 steps down the hall.

I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially those on a budget who just want a inexpensive place to lay their heads at night after a long day meandering through the alleys of Stone Town.

At this cost and with breakfast included, it was a good deal in my book!!
