The Aberdare Mountains and Mount Kenya. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and are tastefully furnished to cater for a total of 107 guests.


The Aberdare country club has cottages that have 2 bedrooms with interconnecting doors with fireplaces to keep the mountain cold away.

Provided with balconies these mountain vacation rentals provide superb panoramic views to Mt. Kenya and Aberdares.


The dinning room offers a variety of Europeans, Asian and Kenyan cuisine. There is a lounge bar and large enough dining rooms situated on the central building.

Recreational facilities include a swimming pool, putting green, nine-hole golf course and tennis courts as well as horse riding.


A variety of animals can be seen in the club’s sprawling 1,300 acre wildlife sanctuary including gazelle, giraffe and zebra including the rare and beautiful leopard.

The Kenya mountain club bursts with a profusion of colors from the ever green grass to the blue pool and peacocks walking casually in the welcoming lawns.


Here you will get a chance for horse ride safaris through the virgin forest paradise. For those looking for a golf mountain resort, they are spoilt for the high altitude golf course in the grounds.

There are opportunities too for game drives in the national parks as well as Kenyan trout fishing trips and safari bush meals.

The physical can play tennis or just laze by the pool and lush club gardens. The club has conference facilities with accommodation for groups of 10 to 100 people.


If you are accessing the Aberdare mountain country club by air, it is a mile from the Mweiga airfield, forty minutes drive after Nanyuki airstrip and 6 miles from the Nyeri airstrip.


Due to its proximity to Nairobi, the Aberdare country clubs conference facilities are popular with board and corporate meetings away from Nairobi town.

The Aberdare club has a selection of four conference rooms each with a capacity of 10 to 100 participants based on the layout.



Equipped with a range of top of the range conferencing audio and visual equipment, the Aberdare club also offers secretarial services and reapportioning.


With the pool bar overlooking the pool, the parents can relax at the same time chaperon and look after their children as they play.
